Ksp mac m16/1/2023 ![]() I have no idea whether this is an issue with dolfinx, petsc, mpi or all together. #4 KSPCreate() at /Users/chris/Documents/Fenics/petsc/src/ksp/ksp/interface/itcreate.c:674 #3 KSPInitializePackage() at /Users/chris/Documents/Fenics/petsc/src/ksp/ksp/interface/dlregisksp.c:160 #5 MatCreate() at /Users/chris/Documents/Fenics/petsc/src/mat/utils/gcreate.c:74Ī similar error message appears for other scripts: PETSC ERROR: Logging has not been enabled. #4 MatInitializePackage() at /Users/chris/Documents/Fenics/petsc/src/mat/interface/dlregismat.c:160 #3 MatMFFDInitializePackage() at /Users/chris/Documents/Fenics/petsc/src/mat/impls/mffd/mffd.c:42 #2 PetscClassIdRegister() at /Users/chris/Documents/Fenics/petsc/src/sys/logging/plog.c:2322 #1 PetscLogGetStageLog() at /Users/chris/Documents/Fenics/petsc/src/sys/logging/utils/stagelog.c:29 Instead the line number of the start of the function is given. The EXACT line numbers in the error traceback are not available. It’s PETSC ERROR: Logging has not been enabled. Update: I completely reinstalled/-built Fenics (ufl, basix, ffcx, dolfinx current version 0.4.1.dev0). There is no difference if running on single-core or with mpirun. (in poisson.py) and solver = (m, problem) The error appears when calling the line problem = (a, L, bcs=, petsc_options=) Get the Game Capture HD60 X and use it to capture 1080p60 on your Mac while you play the game on the PC. This happens when running, for instance, the provided Poisson and Hyperelasticity examples ( Implementation - FEniCSx tutorial & Hyperelasticity - FEniCSx tutorial). You may or may not see output from other processes, depending on NOTE: invoking MPI_ABORT causes Open MPI to kill all MPI processes. MPI_ABORT was invoked on rank 0 in communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD You might have forgotten to call PetscInitialize(). However, running problems results in the error: PETSC ERROR: Logging has not been enabled.
 More sharing options. Thank you for being a guinea pig in true Kerbal fashion. Yet, I also built Dolfinx (along with ufl, basix and ffcx) directly on my system (and everything seemed to work fine). Ars Technica had a detailed performance review comparing M1 Rosetta2 performance and it sounded quite promising, with single thread performance ( key for KSP ) under Rosetta2 outperforming Intel based Macs. There is no problem when running the provided Docker containers. I’m facing a problem when trying to run problems on a Mac (M1).
